About This Place

The Chicken Supply stands out as Seattle’s premier destination for fried chicken lovers craving bold, satisfyingly crunchy meals. Located in the vibrant Greenwood neighborhood, this chicken restaurant serves up a masterfully crafted menu where every bite bursts with flavor and texture. Whether you’re a fan of the classic or prefer a spicy kick, The Chicken Supply’s signature Fried Thigh Box is a must-try. The golden, thickly battered chicken thighs deliver an irresistible crispness that gives way to juicy, tender meat inside — a testament to their perfectly balanced brine and fresh preparation. Many guests recommend ordering a combo of original and spicy thighs to experience the full spectrum of their expertly seasoned offerings.

The sides at The Chicken Supply elevate the experience to a new level of delicious nostalgia mixed with innovation. The garlicky, aromatic Garlic Fried Rice and the fluffy, creamy Smashed Potatoes are perfectly paired companions to the hearty chicken, while the Crispy Potato and Marinated Veggies deliver textural variety and brightness. For those with a sweeter palate, the Butter Mochi and moist, decadent Mochi Butter Cake offer a luscious finish that tempers the savory notes beautifully. And don’t overlook the Elote — a comforting, flavorful side that adds a touch of smoky, Mexican street-corn flair.

The Chicken Supply is not just about the food but also about the warm, thoughtful atmosphere crafted by its friendly staff. Customers often highlight how the team prepares your order fresh upon your arrival, ensuring every meal is piping hot and crisp, never soggy, which is particularly appreciated with takeout orders. Despite the cozy space with limited indoor seating, the overall vibe remains welcoming and intimate, perfect for savoring hearty comfort food in a neighborhood setting.

To complement their plates, The Chicken Supply offers a curated selection of drinks including French and California wines, ciders, and craft beers. Notably, the Wander & Ivy wines feature elegant notes ranging from citrus and floral brightness in their Sauvignon Blanc to rich, fruity depth in their Bobal Red Wine blend. These thoughtfully chosen beverages perfectly accompany the richness of the fried chicken and sides, enhancing your dining experience.

Moreover, The Chicken Supply demonstrates a heart beyond food by supporting local causes. Their pink tank tops, with proceeds benefitting The Lambert House — a center empowering queer youth — show their commitment to community engagement, a meaningful gesture that resonates with many patrons.

Customer feedback consistently echoes the outstanding quality and authenticity of the food. Dipin V praises it as “easily the best fried chicken place in Seattle,” emphasizing the importance of preordering to secure fresh, hot chicken. Richard Fernandez warns first-timers about the indulgently thick, crunchy coating that’s full of flavor, urging diners to pair the chicken with their top-notch sides for a perfect meal balance. Ade William and Duge Cubed appreciate the thoughtful seasoning and inventive sauces, while Sijeeta Deb highlights generous portions and tailored spice levels, ensuring every visit caters to individual tastes.

For anyone seeking a deeply satisfying fried chicken meal where quality, flavor, and community spirit meet, The Chicken Supply is a standout choice. Prepare to be delighted by layers of texture and taste that make every visit memorable and crave-worthy.

This is easily the best fried chicken place in Seattle. Since the place sells out fast, it’s best to pre-order. When you reach let them know if you plan to dine in or take out. Nice thing is that they make your order fresh when you arrive so that it’s hot, crunchy, juicy and simply the best fried chicken. Recommend getting a mix of spicy and original. The staff is always friendly and thoughtful. Been here countless times and the food and service has always been consistent.

First time, just tried their white-meat chicken stick. Solid and cool dipping sauces! Will definitely return for more chicken and their interesting sides!!

Heard a lot about the Chicken Supply but since they usually open in the afternoon we didn't try before. We decided to order for takeout. The chicken is really good and delicious. Even for takeout, the chicken stayed crispy. The skin/batter was flavorful and the meat itself is brined to perfection The stick, unfortunately is just mid. It was a bit soggy by the time we arrive at home. The garlic rice is OK but if you are garlic adverse, maybe don't order this. The garlic flavor is a punch in the face, not just some mild garlic fragrance. The coconut collard green is delicious but can't help but feel collard green maybe a weird choice for Filipino Laing. Maybe kale would be better? The cold pancit is probably our least favorite item we ordered. The bihon itself is not seasoned and the cherry tomatoes is too sour (it was pickled). We'll definitely be back for more chicken in the future. PS. Depends on your preference, you may want to order the original than spicy The spiciness cones from extra pepper seasoning, instead of actually spicy batter for the chicken. We ordered original for the chicken and spicy for the stick so we can compare.

Awesome fried chicken but be ready for a thick, THICC coating. If you're afraid of cracking a tooth come for the sides. The rice, potatoes and sauces are on point. Zero complaints. Chicken is juicy and really spicy if you swing that way. Overall a Heavy Highly Recommended from me.

I was craving Chicken and something sweet after that. They had both the options with drinks .We had Parts (drum, wings, thigh, all chicken mixed) and butter mochi. Such huge chicken portions, It was a lot for two of us. They adjust the spice level as per liking. Not a lot of space indoors .They have in-house 17% tip automatically added to the bill.

I ordered the spicy chicken wing and thigh. Both are definitely worth going back for. I wasn't as big of fan of the sides, but I will still go back for the chicken. I live about 10 minutes away and the chicken was still crispy when I got home. Wasn't a fan of the marinated vegetables as they were too sweet nor was I of the Monggo Beans & Rice.

Best fried chicken I’ve ever had! Highly recommend all the fried chicken. They’re very juicy and flavorful. In addition, the fried chicken stick is way beyond my expectations! The staff recommended the hot sauce. It has a nice mix of tangy and spicy flavors in creamy texture, which just goes perfectly with the fried chicken. It definitely gave the taste a strong kick, but be careful if you are weak to spicy stuff. The potatoes are tiny ones with the skin on and crispy, the flavor is light but yummy. We also tried the butter mochi. It’s harder on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. The almond flakes and caramel (I think) taste just delightful with the cream on the side. The crew is super friendly and happy to help. We’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
